About
The look should sing as loud as the voice.
Parris Lové is a vocalist from Oakland who brings soul, warmth and a real sense of occasion to every room she sings in. She studied dance at Oakland School for the Arts and is a true triple threat who sings, dances and acts, with musical theater credits including Chicago at Contra Costa Civic Theatre.
She started singing professionally in 2006 with Beyond Praise, an a cappella duo that performed throughout the Bay Area. She then spent nearly a decade on the East Coast as a jazz, neo-soul and R&B artist.
There she performed solo at venues from New York to Florida. At World Cafe Live, she was the featured artist and lead vocalist fronting an 18-piece band that included members of the Sun Ra Arkestra. Along the way she shared the stage with pianist Eric Wortham, who plays for Jill Scott, Adele and Seal.
Back home, she was a featured artist at the finale of Future of Us, San Francisco's 10-day civic festival for America's 250th anniversary, in 2026. She also sings with and styles Collab-Choir, with a range that runs from classical repertoire to opening for Foreigner on their farewell tour.
She also hosts events as an MC. One booking gets you a performer's ear, a host's timing and a stylist's eye.
